GEN Restaurant Group signed a binding letter of intent to sell operations at 47 U.S. restaurants to Chubby Group for $100 million.
Following the deal, the Korean food company plans to eliminate all its outstanding debts and restructure to solely support the Korean consumer packaged goods business, it said Wednesday.
