For 37 years, the Chicago Wolves professional hockey team has called Rosemont’s Allstate Arena its home.
Another five years was added onto that arrangement at Monday’s Rosemont Village Board meeting. Trustees voted unanimously to approve a five-year license agreement with the team that will result in $400,000 more per year paid to the village.
As part of the agreement, the team’s headquarters will move from Glenview to the second floor of the former Harley-Davidson dealership in Parkway Bank Park entertainment district. A new restaurant, Chubby Cattle, will occupy the first floor. The Wolves and village will split some of the revenue expected to be generated from sponsorship, etc.
